Made For More - Week 2

May 17, 2026

Q1 - Have you ever put an embarrassing amount of effort into something that ultimately didn’t matter much - like Pastor Josh chasing the perfect “77,777 miles” dashboard photo? What does that reveal about how easily we prioritize temporary things over eternal ones?

Q2 - Read Ephesians 1:9-10 and John 17:20-23 - Paul says God’s mysterious will is to bring unity to all things under Christ, and Jesus prayed that believers would be one. Why do you think unity among Christians matters so deeply to God - and what damages it most today?

Q3 - Read Ephesians 2:13-19 and Colossians 3:13-15 - The sermon described Jews and Gentiles becoming “one family” through Jesus despite generations of hostility. Is there a relationship where you need to move from keeping peace externally to actually pursuing unity internally?

Q4 - Read James 1:19 and Proverbs 15:1 - “Quick to listen, slow to speak,
slow to become angry.” Which of those three comes hardest for you during conflict - and what would it look like to intentionally practice it this week?

Q5 - Read Philippians 2:1-4 and Romans 12:18 - The sermon challenged us to “assume the best instead of the worst” in people. How would your relationships change if you consistently chose curiosity and grace over suspicion and defensiveness?

Q6 - Read Ephesians 4:3-6 and Psalm 133:1 - Paul says to “make every effort” to maintain unity. If unity in the church is one of the greatest witnesses to the world that Jesus is real, what practical effort is God calling you to make right now — at home, in friendships, or within the body of Christ?
