Lakeland Kids is all about giving kids a place to grow their faith!

We love to partner with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Both our Preschool & Elementary Ministries do that through age-specific teaching, activities, and groups!

Preschool

Parent Toolkits

We know that teaching your preschooler about Jesus takes a lot of effort! But we also understand that Preschoolers have a dozen things competing for their attention at any given time. To help you out we’ve actually simplified everything you’ll need for an entire week of Jesus moments into our Parent Toolkits.

Each Parent Toolkit below will have a basic overview of each week’s lesson and how you can bring it into the week, a unique activity from the weekend for your family to do together, and a parent devotion moment to help you as you raise your preschooler to love and follow Jesus for life!

Frequently Asked Questions

Each Lakeland Kids service is designed to build real faith and real community. Every child from birth through 5th grade is placed in a small group that they’ll grow with over the years. Each week in service, your kids will enjoy upbeat worship songs, an age-specific teaching from the Bible, and community games & crafts in small group.

Our dream is that every child in Lakeland Kids builds the foundation of a faith that will last the rest of their lives!

Yes! We believe that kids encounter God best through community.

That’s why we design all of our NextGen ministries with plenty of chances to form deep connections with other kids their age and with adult leaders! When your family attends the same service each week, your kids will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces. Those faces will come to be the support system for your kids and their faith!

Our dream is that every child in Lakeland Kids builds the foundation of a faith that will last the rest of their lives!

When you visit us for the first time, we invite you to come straight to our First Time Check-In Desk where our volunteer team will check you in!

To check your family into Lakeland Kids we’ll need some basic information: a family member’s name, child’s name and birthday, address, phone number, and any special instructions. Don’t worry, we’ll be with you every step of the way. We’ll even give you a quick tour and special gift!

You can pre-register by CLICKING HERE.

One of our highest priorities in Lakeland Kids is safety and security. That’s why we check every child in at the beginning of service. When you check in you’ll receive an identification sticker for your child and the adult that checked them in. Each tag will have a three digit code that is unique to your family for that day. We ask that your child wears that tag throughout their morning with us.

After service, when you’re picking up your child, our volunteer teams will check the three digits on your tag with the three digits on the child’s tag. After they match up we’ll take the tags and send you on your way!

Every Lakeland Kids volunteer and staff member is screened, background checked, and trained with the highest safety standards in mind. Our NextGen areas are also overseen by our Adult Safety and Security Team who are trained in risk assessment and security.

Should we need to contact you during service, we’ll text the cell phone number that you give us!
