1. Think about a meaningful conversation you've had with someone recently. What made that conversation "stick" with you while so many others are quickly forgotten?

2. Read Matthew 13:3–9. Jesus describes one sower scattering the same seed on four different types of soil. What does this tell us about the heart of God before it tells us anything about our own hearts?

3. Read Matthew 13:22–23. Jesus says worries, distractions, and the deceitfulness of wealth can choke the Word. What are some of the "thorns" that most commonly compete for your attention and affection today?

4. Read James 1:22–25. Pastor Michael said, "Good soil isn't perfect soil. It's receptive soil." What's one practical way you can remain receptive to God's Word instead of simply hearing it this week?

5. Read Hosea 10:12. Hosea tells God's people to "break up your unplowed ground." What area of your heart do you sense God may be inviting you to cultivate? What might "breaking up the ground" actually look like for you?

6. Read Galatians 6:9. God is an extravagant Sower who never stops sowing. Who is one person in your life that God may be asking you to keep investing in, even if you haven't seen much fruit yet? What is one "seed" you could sow into their life this week?
