Speak Life - Week One

What is something someone said to you—positive or negative—that has stayed with you longer than they probably realized?
Read Proverbs 18:20–21 — Our words affect the people who hear them, but they also shape what grows within us. What kind of fruit have your recent words been producing in you and those around you?
Read Ephesians 4:29–32 — Paul connects destructive speech with bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness. What might your words be revealing about something unresolved in your heart?
Read Matthew 18:21–35 — Jesus teaches that forgiven people forgive others. How does remembering the debt God has forgiven in you change the way you view what someone else owes you?
Read Romans 12:17–21 — Forgiveness releases our right to collect the debt without denying the hurt or automatically restoring trust. What debt—an apology, explanation, regret, or punishment—are you still trying to collect from someone?
Read Colossians 3:12–14 — Is there someone to whom you need to say, “I forgive you,” or “Will you forgive me?” What step can you take this week to stop keeping the offence alive and begin speaking life into that relationship?
