Build - Week 2
Q1 - Be honest… if someone looked at your bank statement, would they say “this person is building the Kingdom” or “this person really loves Amazon, food, and vacations”? 😄
Q2 - Read Matthew 6:21 and 1 Chronicles 29:14 - Jesus says our heart follows our money, and David says everything comes from God anyway. How does your view of “ownership” (mine vs. God’s) shape your willingness to give?
Q3 - Read 2 Corinthians 8:10–12 and Luke 16:10 - Paul challenges the church to finish what they started. Where have you had good intentions to be generous but struggled to follow through—and what would “finishing the work” look like for you?
Q4 - Read Malachi 3:10 and 2 Corinthians 9:6–7 - The sermon described moving from spontaneous giving to consistent, percentage-based generosity. What do you think keeps people from becoming intentional givers—and where are you on that journey?
Q5 - Read Matthew 6:24 and Hebrews 13:5 - Obedience
Jesus says we can’t serve both God and money. Where do you feel the tension between trusting God and trusting money for security, comfort, or control?
Q6 - Read 2 Corinthians 8:3 and Romans 12:1 - Sacrificial Living
Sacrificial giving means laying something down that matters. What would it look like for you to take a real step of faith—one that actually costs you something—and trust God with it?
