Heaven & Nature Sings - Week One
Share a Christmas moment (or snowy weekend) that didn’t go as planned but now makes you laugh. What made it so chaotic or unexpected?
Q1 - Read Luke 2:10–11: “Good news of great joy for all the people…”
The sermon contrasted happiness (a candle) with joy (a lighthouse). Where have you experienced that deeper, steady kind of joy—even during unfavorable circumstances?
Q2 - Herod resisted the true King, while the Wise Men traveled far to seek and surrender to Him. When you look at your own life, where do you see yourself resisting Jesus’ reign, and where do you see yourself following Him with openness like the Magi?
Q3 - Read Revelation 3:20. The pastor said Jesus can be a guest in your life or the host.
In what areas of your life is He truly hosting—and where is He still just visiting?
Q4 - “He comes to make His blessings flow far as the curse is found.”
Where do you feel the “curse” (brokenness, stress, thorns) most during the Christmas season, and how does Jesus push back that darkness for you?
Q5 - Read John 1:12: “To all who received Him… He gave the right to become children of God.” What would it look like for you to “prepare Him room” in a fresh or deeper way this Christmas? And is there someone you can invite who needs this joy?
