School of Hard Knocks - Week One

Q1 - Is there anything in your life you feel you had to learn the hard way? Something you wish your dad, mom, or someone else had taught you? 

Q2 - As Christians, we are supposed to be purposeful to reproduce something in others. Read about the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. Have you ever considered yourself a disciple of Jesus? How do you nurture the spiritual growth of others?

Q3 - Read Matthew 22:36-37. “Jesus replied, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” How do you help reproduce this kind of passion in others? 

Q4 - Pastor Josh tells us that if we don’t reproduce passion for Him, then we reproduce apathy for God. What passions are you passing down? And what are you modeling to others? 

Q5 - Read 2 Timothy 2:1-2. How does the passage ensure we reproduce competency for His kingdom? Do you ever feel incompetent in doing this? 

Q6 - We are also called to reproduce initiative and risk taking for the kingdom. Pastor Josh told us the example of his parents selling their lake home so they can do missions work. What have you risked to further the kingdom of God and reproduce initiative in others?
