Adult Groups

We believe faith explodes when you plug into Groups! Everything changes in a circle. Groups are not just something we offer. They are one of the biggest ways to truly plug in, grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus, and find the kind of connection your soul craves.

Community Corner

At Lakeland we believe in being Kingdom-minded! The following are opportunities to build connections and serve with other local churches.

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

We See You

We believe teachers and school staff are making a lasting impact on the next generation, and we want them to know they are seen, valued, and appreciated.

Each year, this event gives us the opportunity to recognize school staff across our county by inviting them to Lakeland and partner churches to receive a gift and be prayed over.

By serving on a We See You Team, you’ll help honor the important work they do every day. Team members will help pack shirts to be distributed throughout the county and serve as a warm, welcoming presence as we hand them out during one of our services.

Sharon District Clothing Closet

Help students and families in our community feel cared for and prepared by donating clothing, shoes, hygiene items, household essentials, and easy-to-prepare food.

Current needs include stretchy pants, sweatpants, athletic shorts, underwear, socks, tennis shoes, winter gear, deodorant, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, dish soap, laundry detergent, kid-friendly snacks, cereal cups, breakfast bars, ramen, Easy Mac, and microwavable meals.

This is a simple and meaningful way for families to serve together, meet practical needs, and remind students they are seen, valued, and loved.

Feed My Starving Children

Serve together as a family by packing meals with Feed My Starving Children, a hands-on organization that helps provide nutritious food for children around the world.

Kids as young as age 5 can participate, making this a meaningful serving opportunity for families with younger children. Packing locations are about an hour away, so families can turn the experience into a family day by serving together and then enjoying a meal, park, or nearby activity afterward.

This is a simple, joy-filled way for families to make a global impact together while helping kids understand compassion, generosity, and the power of serving others.
