1. Mark Twain said, “The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why.” If you had to explain “your why” today, what would you say?
2. In what areas do you get caught up in comparison? What truth would God tell you about those areas (or about yourself)?
3. Who are you called to impact? What are their top needs?

Challenges

1. Complete the 5-Day Field Guide on what the Bible says about impacting others. Consider journaling what you discover.
2. Make a big list of all the “whos” you could impact. From serious to silly and everything in between – just get a list going.
3. Prayerfully ask God for the most obvious needs that need to be met on the list you created in Challenge #2. Make notes of what He shows you.
4. Take the bold step of contacting nextsteps@lakeland.church for the next steps to launching your impact community. Don’t go to your grave with this! The people you are called to reach matter to God and you were made for impact!

Win: Develop a concise version of your faith story for God to use. 

Win: Reject labels that are untrue, level up on who God says that you are, and boldly start to walk in it.

1. Pastor Lisa taught us three important beliefs: you are adopted, you are heard, and you are gifted. All of these are true, but which is most meaningful to you in this season of your life?
2. What labels have been attached to you that God wants to replace? Who first gave you these labels?
3. Is it easier to think about the false labels or the true labels? Why?

Challenges

1. Complete the 5-Day Field Guide on what the Bible says about your identity in Christ. Consider journaling what you discover.
2. Spend a dedicated 15 minutes quietly and prayerfully asking God, “What labels do I still carry with me?” Make a list and end your time presenting these labels to God.
3. Review your list of labels in Challenge #2 and let God replace them while you engage in a more active posture of walking, running, etc. Spend 15-30 minutes doing this activity and be sure to capture what you sense the Lord telling you about yourself at the very end of your time.
4. Declare these truths about yourself to your Impact Community Leader or Ministry Leader. This is important! You are not bragging, you are moving into your God-given identity.

Win: Identify a smaller group of friendships that are of critical importance for the next leg of your faith journey.

1. Have you ever experienced a tight circle of a few friends in the past? Was that a helpful or hurtful experience for you?
2. How might God “flip the script” when it comes to close relationships? Imagine with Him what it could be like. Is there any work He needs to do in you to make this a reality?
3. Do you keep your beliefs out of your tight friend group or is discussion welcome? Share more.

Challenges

1. Complete the 5-Day Field Guide on what the Bible says about what happens with a gathering of just a few people. Consider journaling what you discover.
2. Take the challenge to pray. Press into God on who He might be calling you to do life with.
3. Take inventory of any relational baggage you might have in your life that keeps you from getting close to others. Use quiet time, drive time, or exercise time with God to forgive others and make room for letting others in.
4. Invite 2-3 people to do life with you over the next 6 months for the purpose of growing spiritually. Consider using the Discipleship Pathway or sermon-based questions provided at www.lakeland.church/sermon-questions/.

Win: Develop a mature and regular habit of being in and obeying God’s Word as a disciple of Jesus.  

Win: Grow personally in new levels of generosity as you seek to become more like God.

Win: Recognize God’s voice in prayer and move with Him daily.

3. Experiment with the spiritual disciplines of Simplicity, Fasting, Journaling, Silence, & Solitude. Ask God to speak to you, test it immediately, evaluate. Use writing as Lisa described.
