On May 16th Eric and Julianne’s 1-year-old daughter Kylie was found unresponsive from drowning in a bucket of shallow water. For the next 3 weeks this little angel defied the odds by the grace of God. God was present even in the darkest moments in the hospital…and He will receive the glory in all things.
On June 5th Eric and Julianne wrote: Kylie went to be with the Lord. She is smiling with Him in glory now. Smiley Kylie will not be forgotten!
Thank you for standing by us in prayer. We all prayed for a miracle but God has other plans that we don’t understand. What we do know is that this is not the end of the story: For Kylie, she is beginning her adventure in eternity; and for us, God is still working and showing His goodness to us. Kylie, in her short life and death, drew more people to the Lord than many who have lived “full” lives. For that we praise God!
While the family now mourns and many of us with them, we want to continue to stand in the gap with them in prayer and in practical financial support. We have had many people inquiring about how to best tangibly love and support the Wildgens at this time. We know that there will be financial hurdles from funeral expenses to medical expenses in the coming days.
As the Wildgen’s are one of Lakeland’s monthly missions partners and we have set up an account where you can give knowing every dollar you give will go directly to the family to help meet their needs.
There are 2 simple ways you can give.
1. Give to the Wildgen’s via credit card online. Click HERE and in the tab next to Giving Type simply select Wildgen’s and your gift will be directed to them.
2. Send a check through your online banking bill pay or through the mail to Lakeland Community Church. Simply write in the memo Eric and Julianne Wildgen.

In the days ahead we will have more specifics around exact financial needs, but for now, we are stepping into action to gather funds to support the family.
We would love to see the Big “C” Church come together, rally around the Wildgens and be able to provide them peace in regards to their financial burdens.
